Kathryn Brodie is a videographer and video editor born in Virginia, based in Boston, and currently on her 24th lap around the sun. Kathryn’s video production skills span from being a one woman show, capturing high quality visuals on a smaller budget, to being an assistant camera alongside professionals for shoots with GBH, the Museum of Science and PBS learning Media. From talking head interviews for promotional videos to run-and-gun documentary shoots, she is always up for the challenge. Her interests lie in promotional storytelling and capturing the arts.
In addition to her filmmaking, she is also experienced in crafting complex stories at the edit bay with short and long-term deadlines. Skilled in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Scratch software, she’s done editing work for clients including 42 Degrees North Media, Smithsonian Museums, PBS, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dancio and more. When she’s not working on a new project she can be found outside in Boston’s emerald necklace, or exploring the work of local artists.
